ReportBuddy™ was custom designed for Sage Master Builder to enable non-technicians to create reports to meet their information needs. In fact, it has many powerful features to go well beyond what can be done with the Sage Master Builder Report Writer and those offered in Crystal Reports. - More than 24 popular, pre-defined reports
- Stonefield Query is the engine behind ReportBuddy. It has been a great success to drive the report writers of several popular software products.
- The names of all tables in Sage Master Builder have been given more meaningful names and grouped by category.
- Likewise, field names have been more descriptive names.
- All related tables have been pre-linked to related tables by SQL code so you don’t have to.
- More than 25 UDFs are included to provide the ability to extract key information that is otherwise impossible to retrieve without ReportBuddy.
ReportBuddy is offered in two flavors:
- Runtime Edition: Permits end users to run any of the reports provided with the product, plus any written by developers using the DEVELOPER’S EDITION. Users can filter data and define the sort order to further refine the report output. Output can be directed to a printer, Preview window, PDF file, Excel, HTML, Word document or text file.
- Developers' Edition: This is usable by report designers such as Pro Advisors and Solution Providers as well as IT technicians of the Sage Master Builder client. All facilities of the embedded report writer (and UDFs we provide) are made available to respond to the need for customized reports—both Ad Hoc and production reports.
